.Brooks Historical will celebrate caneberries with our annual Depot Day event on June 29, 2024 from 9 am to 3 pm, featuring loganberries and Marionberries.  A grant from the Oregon Raspberry and Blackberry Commission funded our berry exhibit in the museum, and will provide free admission.

Our celebration includes berry themed games for example, “berry toss” (like corn hole), and pie pan disc golf. Contests such as best berry pie, and a pie eating contest will carry out the theme. There will be Prizes!  Come hungry and plan to purchase berry cobbler with topping as a special treat. Watch Facebook for details.

Check out these artificial blackberries made by our dedicated exhibits team, the project in process, and the finished crate of berries. Wow! Good enough to eat!
